The Egyptian Society of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology (ESPAI) is pleased to announce that Prof. Yehia El-Gamal, president of ESPAI, has received the State Merit Prize in Medicine 2014 which is the highest distinction medical award in Egypt granted by the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology Prof. El-Gamal founded the Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Unit of Ain Shams University in 1988; it was the first training program in Allergy/Immunology in Egypt and the Arab countries. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Egyptian Journal of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology (ISSN 1687-1642; eISSN: 2314-8934) an open access journal (http://www.jespai.org/___________________________________

           ESPAI

ESPAI was founded in May 2002 as the first society concerned with pediatric allergy and immunology in Egypt.  The start was in Cairo but its activities are expanding to span the whole country.

 

    Mission Statement

ESPAI is a non-profit society dedicated to the advancement of pediatric allergy and  immunology by promoting education, stimulating research, and encouraging exchange of knowledge and cooperation with other medical societies and those engaged in the field, with the ultimate goal of improving medical care to patients.
